From Way Up Here

A short film about friendship, grief, and the great outdoors.

Ashes in tow, Anne and Babs ditch a “celebration of life,” steal a car (and the urn), and take to the road to honor the dearly departed with one last adventure: a hike to a beautiful overlook.

But grief is messy and the trail is filled with obstacles—both physical and emotional.

This heartfelt comedy is about the friendships that help us see ourselves and the world around us more clearly—and how to keep seeing, even after they end.
